Wexford Equestrian boasts some of the finest equestrian facilities anywhere in Ireland.
Our XC facilities include a large covered in viewing area, raised judges’ cabin with sound system, two large warm-up arenas, wash bays, canteen facilities, toilets, lounge, Kids play area and a dedicated reception area.
Frequent event competitions are held throughout the year, including Stepping stones to success young event horse league (dedicated page on this site with information available) giving riders the opportunity to test both horse and rider during the event season, or to aid schooling in the off-season. With all weather sand surfaces this is availabe all year around. It also provides an amazing arena for sales videos and promtional footage.
Derby competitions are also held regularly, both indoor and outdoor catering to all levels. Combining the thrill of cross-country jumps with the precision of show jumping fences over a timed course, hunters, eventers, ponies and horses are all welcome to take up the challenge.
Beech Cross Country Arena
Beech Cross Country Arena is a unique outdoor all-weather Wexford Sand & Fibre arena, measuring 110m x 75m.
The arena includes a selection of banks, coffins, portable fences, tyres, skinnies and a superb multi-option water complex, with almost 100 fences available at various times.
It offers horse and rider the option of a full cross-country course within the safe surroundings of a post-and-rail fenced arena, designed to enhance the performance of the cross-country horse while challenging both horse and rider.
Private schooling sessions are available by prior arrangement all year round. Whether you are bringing a young horse, preparing an experienced hunter or eventer, or simply building confidence over solid fences, Beech Cross Country Arena is the perfect place to start.
